Sulaimani Polytechnic University announces study opportunities for graduates of two-year governmental and non-governmental technical institutes, offering programs in the morning and evening sessions. to obtain a bachelor\'s degree in technical colleges of Sulaimani Polytechnic University with the education system (polytechnic - parallel) for the academic year (2025-2026).
Terms and Conditions of Application:
- Application will be online only through this link https://apply.spu-studentportal.com/
- Application period starts on (20/8/2025) until (5/9/2025).
- Application requirements (1- Diploma or graduation support provided that the score is written in percentage form. 2- National card on both sides on one page. 3- Only for employees: no objection letter for study permit).
- Enter the fourth name as a national card in Kurdish script.
- Age requirement for application from (1/1/1985) and younger, ie not more than (40 years).
- Score requirements for application and competition for the (technical colleges of engineering) diploma score should not be less than 70%.
- Score requirements for application and competition for (health technical colleges) diploma score should not be less than 65%.
- Score requirements for application and competition for technical colleges (management, informatics and agriculture) diploma score should not be less than 60%.
- Admission will be for equivalent departments only.
- Study time in the morning, and successful candidates who are admitted, if they are government employees, must attach a letter of refusal from their offices, and our university is not responsible for their offices to grant study permits.
- Duration of study with this system (4 years).
- Admitted students start their studies from the first phase.
- One seat in each department will be reserved for graduates of (Erbil Polytechnic University - Duhok Polytechnic University, Garmian Polytechnic University), Akre University of Applied Sciences, who apply through the nearest polytechnic university in their place of residence.
- Regarding the graduates (first, second and third morning and evening) of the academic year (2024-2025) (only our university institutes), do not apply through this system. Still, these graduates will be admitted to equivalent colleges.
- Graduates of two-year non-governmental institutes can apply, provided they have an equivalent department in our university.
- Each applicant is allowed to submit the form only once; otherwise, they will be disqualified from the competition.
- Any applicant who submits incorrect information will be disqualified from the competition.
- Not every student who applies will be admitted because the number of seats is determined according to the plan of scientific departments, and only (diploma score and admission plan) will be used as a criterion to determine the successful applicants and no other criteria are used.
- After verification of the applicants\' information by our General Registry Directorate, the names will appear in the list of applicants.
